Factores psicosociales asociados al uso problemático del smartphone y la nomofobia en adolescentes: Una revisión sistemática

La nomofobia y el uso problemático del smartphone constituyen fenómenos multifactoriales que pueden afectar la salud y el bienestar de los adolescentes. El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar los factores psicosociales asociados al uso problemático del smartphone y la nomofobia en adolescentes. Se realizó una revisión sistemática siguiendo los lineamientos PRISMA, mediante la búsqueda en las bases de datos Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO, ProQuest y Dialnet, considerando estudios publicados entre 2015 y 2025. De 950 registros identificados, se incluyeron 12 estudios. Los principales factores asociados fueron la ansiedad, el estrés, la depresión, la baja autoestima, las dificultades en el control inhibitorio, los problemas familiares, la ansiedad social y el uso intensivo de redes sociales y videojuegos. Se concluye que la nomofobia y el uso problemático del smartphone presentan un carácter multifactorial, por lo que resulta pertinente implementar estrategias preventivas orientadas a la promoción de la salud mental, el desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales y el uso responsable de las tecnologías digitales.
